IMHo, some of the fantasy type layouts get too far away from the reason to do the layout and center more on the look of the layout. If I have to “figure out” what the message is, it kind of misses the point of putting out the message…

Although I like looking at some of the more complex layouts, the ones that really win my heart tell a story, either through words or pictures. And usually, those are the “simple” layouts.
