I have been an Apple user since 1986 and never used anything else. Three years from retirement and I am in charge of training others on the PC. Their idea of training is.. go watch some PC videos. Of course I can’t find anything! I was given my new Dell Latitude 3310 2 in 1 on Monday. HELP! ANy suggestions on videos for support on how to navigate and to get tips and tricks?

Yep, it is nice to not need to get another tool for single screen shots. I’m referring to video screen capture with call-out effects for creating tutorials.

Win10 has a snipping tool feature built-in for screen capture.

That’s where I am leaning, but I’m going to try both.

Solid products and when they come out with new versions, they have a discounted upgrade price. Also, there are discounts for educators. Give the trial a whirl.

Premiere Pro is video editing software. There is also Premiere Elements (an easier version) and Premiere Rush (a super simple version designed for social media videos).

I always work with PC since 2000 I think, but my grand daughter has a Mac…
What is Adobe Premiere Pro ? I have Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Bridge… the Premiere Pro is that something useful for me?
What I think is to learn how to work with videos and how to have some photos from my videos? I will watch you to be able to ameliorate the way I work.
Thanks a lot for all the infos… Carmelle L.

It was actually Dell’s support ratings that helped me make the decision. I was also looking at a Lenovo Yoga, but only heard bad things about their customer service.

I personally used PCs since day one of the public internets access. I use dozens of graphics programs over the years and still use quite a few and have a large number of Win only Apps and Programs I would not want to lose. So for a lot of reasons, main ones being my programs and the facts that I needed repairs immediately as a freelancer when things went wrong, Apple was not an option for that reason early on, and the price rubbed me wrong from the start.

I do not use Dell though due to repair availability issues also. I am interested in seeing how yours holds up to all the hard work though. Maybe you will change my mind on considering them.

So welcome to the world of PCs.

The fact that I didn’t have much allegiance to the entire Apple ecosystem was certainly a factor in the decision. I have also used an Android phone for 3+ years. I am very Google and Adobe.
