November Free Sketch & Template

Each month our members receive new sketches and companion layered templates, plus a digital magazine featuring these tools in action. This year I’m giving away a sketch and template set from our membership library every month on the blog.

This month’s freebie is a 6-photo, 12×24 layout which has a lot of room for photos, journaling and embellishing. There are more than 225 sketches and templates instantly accessible when you become a Simple Scrapper member.

Here is an interpretation by former Creative Team member Ronnie Crowley that stays quite true to the sketch, while adding plenty of embellishments to reinforce the sports theme of her page.

Here is an interpretation by Creative Team member Amy Melniczenko that follows the sketch closely, using pops of color to draw the eye across the page.

October Free Sketch & Template

This month’s freebie is a 1-photo, 12×12 layout which has a focal point photo in the middle, while allowing room for some journaling and embellishing. There are more than 225 sketches and templates instantly accessible when you become a Simple Scrapper member.

Here is an interpretation by Sara Case Strickland that flips the orientation of the photo and the location of the title but keeps the embellishments in place.

Here is an interpretation by Lisa Corbin-Polak that is quite true to the original sketch but she includes paint behind the photo to add visual interest.

Here is an interpretation by Melanie Ritchie that keeps to the spirit of the sketch but uses a journaling card as the title for her page and shifts some of the embellishments slightly.

September Free Sketch & Template

This month’s freebie is a 4-photo, 17×11 layout which offers ample room for journaling and embellishments. There are more than 225 sketches and templates instantly accessible when you become a Simple Scrapper member.

Here is an interpretation by Allie Trumpower that stays quite true to the original sketch but adds an additional photo enlargement as a background of the layout.

Here is an interpretation by Jennifer Larson that changes the canvas size to 12×12 and adjusts the right side of the layout to the new size by using journaling strips beside the photos.
